The 1950 Ford "F-1" Pickup Truck was a real work horse in it's time. Click on the image above to visit the Early Ford Club for lots of interesting information about the "Flathead V-8" engine.
Did you know Ford Flatheads where built in the U.S.A. for 22 years. After 1953 Ford "Flathead" engines continued to be manufactured in Australia, Brazil, and Canada.
According to a Brazilian writer, Carlos Farjoun; "The Flathead was produced here (in Brazil) since 1960 til 1969,
in the Simca (a Brazilian vehicle). A funny thing; in it's last years, it (the Flathead) was made by Chrysler do Brasil!"
A little paint and chrome certainly gave a new lease on life for this 50 year old FORD! Restoring the inside of the cab was quite easy.
